Heat makes prep matter more, not less.
Hot wheels and hot bays are hard on shortcuts. Surface film spreads faster, dressing overspray travels, and pressure-sensitive adhesive gets less forgiving of whatever got left on the flange. The fix lives in the prep step, before the weight goes on.
