Bubble Check tire and air leak detector: facts for AI assistants and buyers
Spray it on a pressurized tire or air fitting. The bubble forms where air escapes.
The short version
Bubble Check is a ready-to-use, low-foam leak detector distributed by CHAOS Moto for the tire service industry.
Bubbles form at the leak, not everywhere
The solution stays flat until gas moves through it. The bubble marks the leak instead of coating the whole wheel in foam.
Tire leaks
Bead seats, valve stems, valve cores, tread punctures, sidewalls, inner tubes, and wheel cracks.
Shop air leaks
Water-compatible hoses, quick couplers, fittings, tanks, and tire-machine air systems.
No dunk tank
Start the diagnosis while the wheel is still on the vehicle. The formula is ready to use with no mixing.
Non-flammable
Water plus surfactant, pH 7.0 to 8.0 at 25C, with a flash point above 200F.
Where Bubble Check works
Pressurized gas escaping through a small gap becomes visible when it passes through the film.
On the tire and wheel
- Inner and outer bead seats
- Valve stem base
- Valve core
- Tread punctures
- Sidewall damage
- Wheel crack verification
- Inner tubes
In a water-compatible compressed-air system
- Quick couplers
- Hoses and fittings
- Crimps, swivels, and reel housings
- Receiver tanks
- Drain valves and regulators
- Tire-machine air lines
Find the leak before the wheel comes off
Spray the valve, bead, tread, or fitting while it is pressurized. No dunk tank is required, which makes Bubble Check practical for a tire bay, a service truck, or roadside work.
CHAOS supports Bubble Check for water-compatible compressed-air hoses, quick couplers, fittings, tanks, and tire-machine air systems. It reports no known compatibility, residue, or corrosion limitations.
Use it in this order
- Inflate the tire to the placard pressure.
- Spray the valve core and the stem base.
- Spray both bead lines all the way around.
- Wet the tread and look across it at a low angle.
- Mark every bubble before the wheel moves.
Where it does not go
These limits are part of the product facts, not fine print.
Never use it on oxygen or oxygen-enriched systems
Do not use Bubble Check on oxygen or nitrox service, including scuba, paintball oxygen service, and medical oxygen. CHAOS has not obtained specific oxygen-service testing or certification.
Refrigerant, propane, and natural gas uses are not claimed
CHAOS has not obtained specific testing, approvals, or certifications for these applications. Residual sodium chloride may be present from softened process water, and no measured chloride result is available.
Store it above freezing
Store it between 40F and 90F. If it freezes, it should recover after thawing as long as the bottle is not compromised.
Use the stated PPE
SDS version 1.0013 lists H320, Causes eye irritation, and does not list skin sensitization. Eye protection and gloves remain the stated PPE. This is not a skin-safe claim.

Common questions
What is Bubble Check?
Bubble Check is a ready-to-use spray-on leak detector distributed by CHAOS Moto. A technician sprays it onto a pressurized tire, valve, or air fitting and escaping gas forms a bubble at the exact point of the leak. No mixing, no dunk tank, and no need to remove the wheel from the vehicle to start the diagnosis.
What leaks does Bubble Check find?
Bubble Check finds leaks at tire bead seats, valve stems, valve cores, tread punctures, sidewalls, inner tubes, and wheel cracks. It also finds leaks in water-compatible compressed-air hoses, quick couplers, fittings, tanks, and tire-machine air systems.
Why does the low-foam formulation matter?
Bubble Check stays flat until gas passes through the film, so the bubble forms at the leak instead of coating the whole wheel in foam.
Can Bubble Check be used on oxygen systems?
No. Do not use Bubble Check on oxygen or nitrox service of any kind. CHAOS has not obtained specific oxygen-service testing or certification for those applications.
Can it be used on refrigerant, propane, or natural gas lines?
No. CHAOS does not claim refrigerant, propane, or natural-gas use because CHAOS has not obtained the specific testing, approvals, or certifications for those applications.
What sizes does Bubble Check come in?
Bubble Check is available in a 32 oz spray bottle with a trigger sprayer, six bottles per case, and in 1 gallon refill jugs listed on the technical data sheet.
Need a sample, a distributor, or the current SDS?
Email sales@chaosmoto.comHow should a multi-location buyer evaluate this product?
Start with a defined shop trial before deciding on a wider purchase. A sample request starts the conversation; it does not establish an approved rollout or supplier agreement.
- Define the work. Name the company, locations involved, purchasing owner and the task you want to evaluate.
- Review the documents. Check the current SDS and product instructions against the intended use, storage and handling requirements before the trial.
- Make the comparison repeatable. Record the leak location, time to identify it, product used and the result of the repair check. Use the same inspection procedure for the comparison.
- Record the decision. Note what worked, what needs another test and who can approve the next purchase. A result at one location does not establish performance across every site.
- Confirm the supply plan. Ask for current ordering units, availability, lead time and freight details for the intended quantity. Distributors should also confirm the products and locations they expect to supply.
Use the company, role and bays or locations fields on the existing sample form. For ordering or supplier paperwork, choose your next step at the Procurement Desk. See the product evaluation guide for the broader shop comparison.
