Prep N Stick Quick Dry

A fast-evaporating cleaner for the final preparation step before adhesive wheel weights. Use it in place of brake cleaner for wheel prep. The 32-fluid-ounce bottle is acetone-based, flammable, and free of TCE and perc.
Measure: prep and dry time, product used per wheel, weight retention and comebacks over an agreed period.
Bubble Check

Ready-to-use leak detector. Low-foaming, so it bubbles where the air is escaping instead of foaming over the whole bead. Brings the first inspection to the tire on the car, before the dunk tank. Nothing to mix.
Measure: time to locate and confirm, repeat attempts, amount used, how often the wheel still had to come off.
CHAOS Moto Pry Bar Grip

Add a non-slip handhold to a compatible Coats or Hunter pry bar without replacing the bar. Send the tool model to confirm fit, then check retention, wear, and technician feedback during normal work.
Measure: fit and retention, wear, wheel-contact incidents, technician feedback by job type.

Put CHAOS alongside the products your shops already buy. Compare the amount used, the steps involved, and the result on the job. That gives purchasing a more useful comparison than bottle price alone.

Measure the cost
per wheel.
Customers report about 100-150 wheels from a 32-ounce bottle of Quick Dry. Use that as a starting point for a trial, then measure your own yield on the wheel conditions your shops handle.
The range is customer-reported, not a tested yield specification. Adhesive residue, dirt, and application affect consumption. Divide your delivered bottle cost by the number of wheels prepared to compare it with your current cleaner.
Product used
Compare usable volume and measured consumption. For concentrate, use the diluted working volume.
Time spent
Record mixing, preparation, drying, and inspection time on comparable jobs.
Work repeated
Track repeat checks and related comebacks over the same observation period.
The trial determines the savings. These comparisons do not assume equal consumption, faster results on every job, or a reduction in injuries or wheel damage.

Confirm application instructions before trial use
Revision 1.4 describes a two-spray Quick Dry method and advises replacing frozen Bubble Check. The linked Quick Dry TDS describes spraying, wiping, and allowing the surface to dry; the Bubble Check TDS says freeze-thaw recovery should be possible if the bottle is intact. Ask Scott Givaudan for the current written instructions for your supplied product before trial use.

Test it in the shops
that will use it.
Agree the sample size, comparison method, observation period, and acceptance criteria before the first bottle opens. Change one variable at a time. Keep favorable and unfavorable results. The dossier carries the full protocol and a result record; this is the shape of it.
- Name the decision owner and a lead at each site. Record product, lot, document revisions, equipment models, and the current method.
- Walk the SDS with the technicians who will use the chemicals. Confirm grip fit against the actual bars.
- Run comparable jobs. Record time, amount used, and outcome for each, by product.
- Review by site and across the trial. Report sample counts and follow-up duration with every percentage.
- Close it: accepted, further trial, or declined, with reasons. Purchasing records local or program approval separately.
Compare cost
per completed job.
Divide delivered bottle cost by usable fluid ounces, then multiply by the amount used per job. For labor, multiply observed minutes by your loaded hourly rate and divide by 60. Include rework only when the trial records it.
Use the same method at each participating location. Review the results by shop as well as across the group before deciding where to expand.
